Jane Thompson who was a very good fighter. The troop trucks rumbled over trees and rocks until they got in position. Then they attacked! The air filled with battle noises such as rifle chattering, a 6 or 8 incher booming lazer or shell blasts across the battlefield, or the sound of a man screaming. The 1rst Bn. [Battalion] of Marines got there right behind the 2nd Bn. One of the Army's big guns knocked a hole in the wall and soldiers and Marines rushed through firing. The terrorists drove them back, but some of the prisoners had escaped, including Capt. Jane Thompson. They let the other prisoners go and caught the terrorists from behind. They ran through like wild animals to join their comrades-in-arms. One girl in the 5th grade was in a truck hiding when some terrorist escapees tried to get away. When the Marines came back, the girl's hand was stuck to the gun but she had killed 32 and wounded 7 terrorists. At 1340 on D plus 1 the Marines made their last charge. The Army and Marine guns had blown 6 or 7 holes in the walls of the fort. The Marines and soldiers rushes in, stabbing and cutting with bayonets, shooting with lazer and machine guns, and cutting with the lazer sword. Buildings tumbled, men fell, Marines fell, and explosions shook the earth. The base was taken. Weeks later the Marines were poring over some papers they had found in the base. Captain Jane Thompson suddenly recognized one of the papers. She had seen it when she was a prisoner. It was a map of all the terrorist bases. Then Major Karl Karleson found some pictures of the Mars base, a terrorist landinging [sic] on Titan, a space station called "New Dallas," and a whole bunch of others. The Marines Now planned to attack a base in Moscow and one in Australia on the same day some time in the future. Then they planned to attack "New Dallas," the Mars Base, and the Base on Titan in that order. In the Battle in Seattle only 16 Marines were killed and 31 wounded. Of the terrorists 116 had been killed, 284 wounded, and 107 taken prisoner. II - BATTLE FOR MOSCOW ON the date of June 16, 1995, the Marines from a training base in Seattle were ready for attack. Colonel Johann Sejinky was in command of a small space cruiser and Lt. Colonel Karl Karleson was in command of the other along with Major Ann Thompson. Captain John Thompson was in command of a group of land troops coming in from the west while the cruisers came in from the north and south. A small group of Marines led by 1rst Leuitenant Mark Higgins came in from the east and a small fleet of gunboats came in from the southeast. At 0935 everyone was in position for attack. Five minutes later the attack came. Lt. Higgins and Capt. Thompson brought their groups and kept the terrorists busy while the cruisers attacked. Then the river attack got underway. It was a wipeout for the Marines. They burned buildings, knocked down walls, and cut into bunkers with a newly developed weapon called the lazer sword (light sabre). The Marines counted 162 terrorists wounded, 30 dead. The Marine Corps lost only 16 men and wounded: 12. III - ATTACK ON AUSTRALIA On the same day as the attack on Moscow, a colonel and a captain made a major assault on a terrorist bse in Australia. The captain was a well-trained Marine from Texas named Sumtle Seymor. 4 Navy ships carrying Marines and supplies came up to the beach and constantly pounded the terrorist base while the Marines and Army men overran the base. It was a pushover. 65 Terrorists were wounded and 32 killed. Of the Army and Marines They lost only 6 wounded and 2 killed. The Marines came back at 2355 at night and celebrated their glory over the won gold cups and other goodies they had salvaged from the battle. Seymor extinguished himself by killing 16 terrorists. IV - ASSAULT ON "NEW DALLAS" "New Dallas" was a terrorist outpost orbiting the Earth. It was a hightopped bowl with a bubble over the top. According to the reports there were about 220 people in "New Dallas." There were 2 or 3 guns (6 inch) on the "west" side and 3 6 inch guns on the "east" side. 2 8 inchers were on the North side and 3 10 inchers on the south side. On the east 6 fighters were going to come in shooting and then land and run in and take over. On the low east a small cruiser would come in and one would also come in on the low west. On the west 7 men in space suits and lazer swords would come in and help the fighter pilots. The attack plan got under way at 1800 on July 2, 1995. The ships got into position and got ready to attack. At the word from Brig. Gen. Sejinky (She had been promoted) the attack started. All the ships rushed in and attacked. But everything was deathly still as the Marines waited for the terrorists to shoot. No one did. The thought it might be a trap so the cruisers destroyed the food storage and fuel tanks. There was nothing in them! The rest of the Marines went on in and found no one. Then Colonel Karl Karleson found a young girl in her early teens behind a bed writing in her diary. They took her prisoner and she told them that one day all the people left. She thought they might be headed toward the main base but she didn't know where that was. So there really wasn't an attack on "New Dallas." V - THE NEW PLAN On July 8, 1995, the Marines decided to change their attack plan. Instead of attacking Mars Next, they would attack the terrorist main base. They didn't know where the main base was though. They did have an Idea because the girl they had captured on "New Dallas" had said that the main base was on a small planet and the Marines thought it would be Titan because there was a picture of a landing on Titan in the captured papers. They were going to change the plan of attack because the terrorists had moved from "New Dallas" to the main base to escape attack and build for a major battle. So naturally the Marines thought that they would move from Mars too. The Secretary of War of the U.S.A. organized a fleet consisting of: 1,000 Marines, 100 men in the Army, 50 men of the Air force, 30 men of the Navy, the best equipment possible, and enough space ships to carry them. The fleet got on its way to Titan on August 2, 1995. It would take about 6 weeks for the fleet to get to Titan, and it would arrive about September 13, 1995. On Sept. 10, the two clowns of the Marines, Lt. Colonel Ann Kola and Capt. George Cumberland (cousins) received orders to sneak in and pull some jokes on the terrorists. They were to sneak in to the terrorist base, find the control room, make all the toilets spit out what they had accumulated over the last few weeks, turn off the air conditioner and heater, set a bomb off in the control room, and when they ran out toss grenades into the rows of fighters. When they pulled off the move, the rest of the Marine task force Moved in. A big cruiser called the X-3 would go back and forth across the base covering it with fire and bullets. Another cruiser would come in firing from the west and one from the southeast. 150 troops would come in from the north and 200 would come in from the east. The attack started at Sept. 14, 1995, at 0900. The cruiser coming in from the south east was commanded by Colonel Karl Karleson. That cruiser was coming in, blazing its guns when the terrorists on Titan shout out his steering rockets. The cruiser plummeted down toward the main tower of the base. At the last minute the 18 crew members jumped. They landed on branches of the terrorist radar tower. The cruiser fell on down and destroyed the terrorist HQ. The troops that had jumped out were climbing down and shooting for their lives. Karleson jumped the last 40 feet down. Karleson and Lt. Col. Thompson ran through the terrorist ranks shooting and yelling. The Marines moved in. The X-3 lifted off and some of the fire subsided. The Marines took no prisoners as they rushed through killing, wounding, giving first aid to the hurt Marines, and taking over. The attack lasted a total of 4 hours and 37 minutes. (from 0900 to 1337). 601 terrorists were killed, 238 wounded, and 407 got away. Only 200 Marines were killed, 112 wounded, and 17 missing. After the seige, the Marines, Army, Air force and Navy task force took off to attack Mars, the supposed final terrorist base. On Sept. 17, 1995, at 0600 the task force left the terrorist base on Titan. VI - SUPRISE [sic] ON MARS The Marine task force of 963 soldiers arrived at Mars' orbit on Oct. 1, 1995 at 1550. Major General Johan Sejinky let Colonel Karl Karleson make the plan of attack. 6 Artillery guns would come in on the west. 250 troops would come in from the north and 250 came in from the south. 300 Marines came in from the east. 143 troops stayed in the ships that came in from the southwest and northeast. The X-3 came in from the top as it had last time. The attack started at 2300 on Oct. 1, 1995. Karl Karleson led the troops that were coming in from the North while Lt. Colonel Ann Thompson led the artillery from the west. Lt. Col. Nancy Johnson led the south troops. The Marines rushed up to the Mars base only to be beaten back by the withering fire of seemingly great numbers of terrorists when they had thought to be only about 150. (Later an exact count was 1152). Now the task force had about 750 soldiers left. The 6 artillery guns then blasted a giant hole in the Martian base's wall. The troops from the cruiser on the west (the "Pegasus") rushed in 5 by 5. The "Pegasus" crew then got a terrorist gun inside the base and made a hole in the North and east walls. Hundreds of troops rushed in only to find thousands of terrorists firing back at them. Once again the Marines withdrew. Then the X-3 came down with her engines pointing groundward and shooting out a thin stream of fire and smoke enveloping the base in flames. Then a gasoline drum blew about 200 terrorists sky-high! Then a nitrogliceran [sic] drum went off making a flash as big as 30 empire state buildings. The base was in shambles. terrorists and their machinery were lying all about. That is how the Martian base looked after the 417 remaining troops had come in. Then there was a blast, and then another. The marines turned around only to see the "Pegasus" and the "Orion" blow to pieces. Some terrorists had escaped and come around back. The remaining troops of the task force all rushed for the X-3, "Canada," "Pleiades," and the "VIRGO." They blasted off in a fake retreat. 1 hour later they came back guns blazing. The terrorists were caught by surprise but still fought on, grimly, desperately. finally the last terrorist was wiped out. The 4 remaining ships then returned to Earth to celebrate the victory. Although the Space Marines will fight long and hard in other space or Earth battles none will equal the Sol System War I. VII - AFTER THE BATTLE After the battles had been fought and the task force had returned to earth their was a celebration all over the world. Colonel Karl Karleson was promoted to Brig. Gen., awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, and received numerous awards from United Nations. Lt. Col. Nancy Johnson was promoted to Colonel, received numerous UN awards and was appointed Chief Nurse of the Marines. Lt. Col. Jane Thompson was promoted to Colonel, awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, and 6 purple Hearts. Capt. George Carter received several bravery awards and 2 purple hearts. Major Sumtle Seymor was given 4 purple hearts. Major Gen. Johan Sejinky was promoted to Gen. of the Marines. There were hundreds of others that got medals and decorations. But there were Some families that had had relatives die in the war. The Marines gave those families some kind of recognition. Now In 2135 the Space Marines Have expanded, making the whole world remember when they took care of the terrorists.
